Adam Pflugrath, MD
Dr. Adam Pflugrath was born and raised in Virginia. He completed his undergraduate studies at The College of William and Mary earning a Bachelors in Science in Biology. He went on to graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 2015.
Dr Pflugrath then completed his internship in Internal Medicine followed by his Ophthalmology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System where he served as Chief Resident. During residency, Dr. Pflugrath received awards for his patient care and research.
Dr. Pflugrath is excited to join the Charles Retina Institute team as a surgical retina fellow. He enjoys exploring Memphis, Shelby County and surrounding parks with his wife, son and dog.
